Neil Fridman, JD, MBA is a senior corporate and real estate attorney and is the Managing Partner of the Fridman Law Firm PLLC, a boutique law firm in the SoHo area of Manhattan. He has represented companies ranging from start-ups to multinationals, as well as funds and individual and institutional investors. Neil counsels on issues including entity formation and structuring, seed and venture capital financing, joint venture and strategic partnering relationships, employment, equity plans, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and, together with outside counsel, protection and licensing of intellectual property. He has practiced in industries including software/internet/IT, eSports, Fintech, Proptech, renewable energy, telecommunications, healthcare, fitness, biotech, manufacturing, banking and financial services, commercial real estate, consumer products, non-profits, and entertainment.
His mergers and acquisitions expertise ranges from both smaller transactions to major transactions in the software and internet space. In addition to its corporate practice, the Fridman Law Firm PLLC practices in commercial real estate on complex joint ventures, financings, acquisitions, and dispositions of commercial properties. Neil has had the opportunity to advise on some of the largest real estate transactions in New York City, Paris, Madrid, and Israel.
Prior to practicing law, Neil was an investment banker working on large mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions in the healthcare, renewable energy, consumer products, food, and agriculture sectors for a major investment bank and a two boutique investments banks prior to Neil’s practice of law.
Neil began his career in business development at a renewable energy startup company based in New York City and he is a strong believer in taking measures to help the environment, including mandating a paper-free office. Neil serves as an advisor to numerous startup companies, including early stage AI, eSports, and Big Data companies.
